The Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management (BHRM) will enable you to integrate all components of human resources systems so as to improve individual and organizational performance. It provides you with specialized training in all aspects of HR management that involves the study of the employment relationship, compensation, recruitment, selection, remuneration, development, and retention of staff. This degree is designed to develop the student's theoretical knowledge and practice experience in the area of Human Resource Management.

Ideally, BHRM will assist you as an employee to find the best way to increase the quality of services and products produced in an organization. It will also enhance your knowledge and skills to develop and manage value-added human resources policies and programs, and provide expert consultation, services and solutions in an efficient and customer-focused manner


What you'll study

Entry Requirements

Lower Second Class Diploma with a GPA of 3.0 in Finance and Banking or  Economics and Finance,  Economics and Project Planning,  Insurance and Risk, Taxation, Credit Management, Accountancy and Micro Finance, Accountancy with Information Technology or Business Management or Procurement and Logistics Management or Human Resources Management or  Business Administration or  Development Planning or Enterprise Management or Community Development or Local Government Administration or Public Administration or Accountancy or any related qualification AND 4 passes at O level or Foundation Programme of the OUT with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

OR

Form VI with two principal passes in the following subjects: History, Geography, Kiswahili, English Language, French, Arabic, Fine Art, Economics, Commerce, Accountancy, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Advanced Mathematics, Agriculture, Computer Science or Nutrition or Foundation Programme of the OUT with a minimum GPA of 3.0
